In 2001, Stress Recess became the first chair massage company to "go national", delivering massage over a holiday weekend to beleaguered Delta Airlines agents in Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Dallas, and 8 more U.S. cities.  More than 10,000 massages.  On New Year's.  During the worst snowstorm in a decade.  And oh yeah... we only had three days notice!  That was our first national event, and they are still talking about it at Delta.   

Since then, Stress Recess has grown to over 20,000 massage therapists and almost 3500 Stress Recess "Team Leader" managers in over 500 cities.  During the last decade, we have delivered almost a million massages for hundreds of companies, including 39 IBM offices and 43 Deloitte and Touche offices nationwide, Cadbury Schweppes, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, JetBlue, FedEx, UPS, and many more. 

For more than a decade, Stress Recess has led the corporate massage industry, developing legal and insurance standards, performing massage research with nurses at Atlanta's Northside Hospital, and undertaking important employee acceptance studies with clients like BellSouth, Delta, and Georgia Pacific.
